Here are some of our most frequently asked questions... 
 
Q. Which areas do you cover? 
A. We cover Hemel Hempstead and some of the surrounding areas. Our office has been based in Hemel for over 30 years so we pride ourselves on good local knowledge. 
 
Q. What is your hourly rate? 
A. Our hourly rate is £15 per hour + VAT. There are no hidden charges so you will only pay the agreed price.  
 
Q. Does the price include cleaning equipment and materials? 
A. Yes! All equipment and materials you would expect a cleaning service to use in order to execute their duties are included in the price quoted. 
 
Q. What isn’t included in the price? 
A. Additional janitorial supplies are charged as extras on request. These items include toilet rolls, hand towels and hand soap. 
 
Q. Will we be required to sign a contract? 
A. No, not unless you want to for your own peace of mind. All we require is 28 days’ notice to terminate the service, and payment within 28 days.  
 
Q. Will we always have the same cleaners? 
A. Yes as far as it is practical. We try to maintain continuity as it helps build knowledge of the site and a good relationship between the client and our staff. 
 
Q. What happens when our cleaners are on holiday or off sick? 
A. As a local company, we can easily move cleaners between sites, and many of our cleaners are keen to do extra hours to cover sickness/holiday. We also have a 'bank' of replacement cleaners who are happy to work at short-notice. 
 
Q. Are Maple Cleaning staff security checked? 
A. All staff that come into contact with children or vunerable adults (schools, hospitals, surgeries etc) undergo an enhanced DBS check before commencing work with us. 
 
Q. Do we provide any special offers or discounts? 
A. We would be happy to talk to you with regards to incentives for new customers.
